Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on fees, documents, timelines and our process — for both candidates and employers.
Do job seekers pay any fee for placement?
No. Burj Overseas never charges candidates any placement fee — this is prohibited under Indian Emigration Act rules for approved recruiters, and we strictly comply. Any person demanding money claiming to represent us should be reported to us immediately.
How do I know a job offer from Burj Overseas is genuine?
Every offer we extend is on the letterhead of the overseas employer with a verified visa number. You can verify your candidacy directly with us on our official phone numbers listed on this website before accepting anything.
How long does the deployment process take?
For most roles, 4–8 weeks from selection to flight — covering medical examination, visa processing, document attestation and ticketing. Roles requiring license attestation (e.g. healthcare) may take longer.
What documents do I need to apply?
A valid passport (minimum 6 months validity), updated CV, educational/trade certificates, experience letters and passport-size photographs. GCC medical fitness is completed after selection.
How do employers start a manpower request?
Submit the client enquiry form with position titles, headcount and timelines. You will receive a structured sourcing plan and, where applicable, a commercial proposal within 48 hours.
Can client delegates visit India to conduct interviews?
Yes. We regularly host client delegation visits — managing visa invitations, hotel bookings, airport assistance, local transport and fully equipped interview and trade-test facilities at our Delhi centre.
What happens if a deployed worker underperforms or leaves?
We maintain a continuous account-management loop and provide free replacement within the agreed guarantee period, as defined in our service agreement with the employer.
Is Burj Overseas licensed and approved?
Yes — Burj Overseas is registered and approved by the Ministry of Labour, Government of India, and operates in full compliance with the Emigration Act, 1983. Our trade testing centre is Government certified.
